Jason Day withdraws from the Masters

Jason Day has withdrawn from the Masters because of a left foot injury.

Day, who finished tied for second last year in his debut at Augusta National, was one-over through seven holes Friday before pulling out.

The Australian had carded an opening-round 76 on Thursday.
