It was a tale of two halves for Eagles QB Sam Bradford

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford finally found a groove in Sunday's Week 4 game against the Washington Redskins, but itt was a little too late for the Philadelphia Eagles. After a slow start for Bradford, his big second half surge -- one that included three touchdown passes -- was not enough and the Eagles lost 23-20.
After failing to lead one scoring drive in the entire first half, Bradford finished the day 15-of-28 for 270 yards passing, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Bradford's 9.6 yards per attempt was his best to date, as was his 122.6 passer rating.
Bradford got things going by dialing up the deep ball. He found Riley Cooper for a 62-yard touchdown bomb in the third quarter, and later, in the fourth quarter, he connected with Miles Austin on a 39-yard go route.

At 1-3 overall, however, the Eagles and Bradford can no longer afford to get off to a slow start in the passing game. Look for the passing offense to take more deep shots in Week 5.
