Isaac may delay Nicholls-Oregon State game

Corvallis, OR – Hurricane Isaac may be far from Oregon State, but it could impact the Beavers' season-opening football game against Nicholls State.

Officials from both schools will decide Thursday whether to postpone Saturday's opener for both teams.

The Nicholls State campus, located in Thibodaux, La., is closed because of Isaac. The team is scheduled to take a charter flight to Eugene Friday morning.

Should Isaac's delay the Nicholls team flight, the game could be played either Sunday or Monday at Reser Stadium.
