Milan, Italy – Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho will be sidelined at least a month after suffering a stress fracture in his leg on Thursday.
The 20-year-old Coutinho was injured in a Europa League match against Partizan and had to leave in the first half. Inter won, 1-0.
"Following a collision with (Milos) Ostojic in the 30th minute of yesterday's encounter, Philippe Coutinho underwent tests which revealed a stress fracture to his tibia," Inter announced on its website Friday.
Signed from Vasco da Gama two years ago, Coutinho has one goal in five Serie A matches this season.
