Sochi, Russia (SportsNetwork.com) - Canada's Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse, fresh off their second straight Olympic gold in women's two-man bobsled, have been selected as the country's flag bearers for Sunday's closing ceremony at the Sochi Olympics.
The Canadian duo became the first women to defend an Olympic gold medal in bobsled on Wednesday when they edged a pair of American teams for the top spot.
The last time Canada had dual flag bearers was when pairs figure skaters Jamie Sale and David Pelletier were selected for the honor after winning gold at Salt Lake City in 2002.
Hayley Wickenheiser, a forward on Canada's gold medal winning women's hockey team, was the country's flag bearer at the opening ceremony on Feb. 7.
