In case you were wondering how defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Kyle Busch was recovering from two surgeries performed last month, the answer appears to be positive.

In mid-December, Busch underwent the surgical procedures to remove two metal plates in his left foot, and a rod and assorted screws in his right leg. The heavy metal held Busch together after he broke his left foot and suffered a compound fracture of the right leg in the 2015 season-opening NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

But judging by the pictures of their Mexican vacation that Busch and wife Samantha posted Thursday morning on Twitter, the champ is in fine form.
