Herron returns to Minnesota
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Minnesota Vikings have signed linebacker David Herron, who spent the 2008 season with the club.
Herron, who last season played just two games for San Diego, first joined the Vikings in 2007 and appeared in two games. He then started three of the 14 games he played in 2008, racking up 14 tackles.
The Michigan State product also spent time in 2007 with New England and in 2009 appeared in 10 games for Kansas City.
