Miami, FL – The Miami Heat have signed forward Juwan Howard to a second 10-day contract.
Howard has not appeared in a game since re-joining the Heat on March 2. He played 85 games over the previous two seasons with Miami and averaged 2.1 points with 2.0 rebounds, winning an NBA title with the team last spring.
The 40-year-old Michigan product has career averages of 13.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 1,201 games with Miami, Washington, Dallas, Denver, Orlando, Houston, Charlotte and Portland.
