Hawks hold off Heat

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jeff Teague had 27 points, six assists and three steals in the Atlanta Hawks' 112-102 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
Kyle Korver added 18 points, six rebounds and two steals for the Hawks, who have won four in a row. Dennis Schroder and Paul Millsap tallied 16 and 14 points, respectively.
"A good win for us," Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said. "I thought the bench came in and gave us some good stretches."

Dwyane Wade ended with 28 points, seven assists and two steals for the Heat, who have lost three of four. Chris Bosh had 27 points and 11 rebounds.
"For the most part, the effort is there," Wade said. "I think we have to be a little bit smarter."
Holding a 17-14 lead, the Hawks ended the first quarter on a 10-4 run. Mike Scott capped the spurt with a 3-pointer to make it 27-18.

Trailing 45-31 midway through the second stanza, Miami used a 16-4 run to close the gap. Wade tallied eight points during the burst, including a jumper with 1:10 left to pull the Heat within 49-47.
However, Atlanta scored the final six points of the half to build a 55-47 advantage.
Miami got within 63-62 early in the third quarter, but the Hawks went on a 13-5 run. Thabo Sefolosha capped the spurt with a slam to make it 76-67 with 3:59 left.

Ahead 80-71 moments later, Atlanta scored eight of the quarter's final nine points to make it 88-72. The Heat never got closer than 10 in the fourth.
