ST. LOUIS (AP) Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley says he'll be ready to go if asked.
Getting the first-round pick on the field for the first time would no doubt ease quarterback Nick Foles' work load.
Coach Jeff Fisher wouldn't tip his hand after practice Wednesday, saying only that Gurley looked good in practice.
Foles seemed antsy in the pocket and had plenty of misfires in last week's 24-10 loss at Washington, and said the offense just never got in sync.
Gurley, the 10th overall pick, has been ramping up activity with the first-string offense. He's been rehabbing from left knee surgery last fall for Georgia.
The Rams listed just two players on their injury report, neither of them a surprise. Backup end Eugene Sims and special teamer Chase Reynolds are out for the second straight week with knee injuries.
