Rex Grossman has reportedly agreed to a one- year deal to return to the Redskins, but knows Washington will be drafting a quarterback this year.

The Washington Post was one of a few media sources to report Grossman's agreement to come back to the Redskins despite the team trading up with St. Louis to get the No. 2 overall selection this year. Washington is likely to draft Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Robert Griffin III of Baylor with the pick.

Grossman told the Post that the Redskins will "definitely be taking a quarterback with the second pick of the draft."

It's likely Indianapolis will select Stanford's Andrew Luck and then the Redskins will grab Griffin.

Even if this is the case, Grossman could still start the year as No. 1 on the depth chart, but needs to improve on his stats from last year. He played in 13 games and completed 265-of-458 passes for 3,151 yards with 16 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. He also lost five fumbles.

"I need to and can get better with consistency," Grossman told the Post.
