When Mark Richt named Virginia transfer Greyson Lambert Georgia's starting quarterback, many were surprised Lambert was able to quickly grab the lead role. After Lambert set the record for NCAA completion percentage against South Carolina, no one should be questioning whether Richt made the right call any longer.

For his efforts against the Gamecocks, Lambert has been named as the SEC's Co-Offensive Player of the Week:

Lambert has to share the award with Leonard Fournette of LSU, but considering the Tiger running back ran right over Auburn's defense, both players had to be honored for their excellent play.
