The San Francisco Giants placed outfielder Angel Pagan on the 15-day disabled list Friday due to a nagging hamstring strain that has sidelined him for the team's last 10 games.
The move will be retroactive to May 28. Pagan initially sustained the injury while hitting a game-winning inside-the-park home run in the 10th inning of the Giants' 6-5 triumph over Colorado on May 25.
In 46 games this season, Pagan is batting .262 with three homers, 24 RBI and six stolen bases.
