East Rutherford, NJ – The New York Giants will be without cornerback Prince Amukamara for Wednesday's opener against the Dallas Cowboys because of a high ankle sprain.
Amukamara was hurt in the team's third preseason game against Chicago and did not practice leading up to this week's contest.
Defensive tackle Marvin Austin is also out because of a back injury.
Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is questionable and was expected to be a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice. He suffered a fractured foot in May and saw action in the Giants' final preseason game last week against New England.
Linebackers Michael Boley (hamstring) and Mathias Kiwanuka (groin) were also listed as questionable for Wednesday, while running back Ahmad Bradshaw (hand) is probable.
