Gay leads Kings to 107-98 win over Pelicans

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) Rudy Gay scored 20 points and former Kentucky star DeMarcus Cousins added 19 to lead Sacramento to a 107-98 win over New Orleans in a preseason game Saturday night.
Darren Collison also had 19 points while Omri Casspi scored 16 points for the Kings.
It was a homecoming also for Pelicans star Anthony Davis, who had 19 points. Bryce Dejean-Jones scored 11 points for New Orleans. Davis, Cousins, Willie Cauley-Stein and Rajon Rondo all played at Kentucky. Davis helped the Wildcats to the NCAA championship in 2012.

Tyreke Evans and Chris Douglas-Roberts played for Kentucky coach John Calipari at Memphis.
The Pelicans continue their exhibition season Monday at Houston. The Kings host the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 28 to open the regular season.
