Garnett, Bynum named NBA Players of the Week
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett and Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum were named NBA Players of the Week for games played through April 15.
Garnett helped Boston go 4-1 last week, turning in averages of 20.0 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists. He also posted three double-doubles, including a 22-point, 12-rebound evening on April 11 in an 88-86 win over Atlanta.
Bynum aided Los Angeles' perfect 4-0 week, going for 21.8 points, 16.3 boards and 2.0 assists per contest. His top performance happened on April 11 at San Antonio in a 98-84 victory, posting 16 points and 30 rebounds.
