Garnett back in Celtics' lineup
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Kevin Garnett will play for the Boston Celtics when the team begins a three-game road trip with Wednesday's visit to the New Orleans Hornets.
Garnett sat out Boston's last two contests due to an adductor strain in his left thigh as well as a bout with the flu. The veteran center did accompany the Celtics as they departed for their upcoming trek, however, and has been cleared to go for Wednesday's tilt.
The 36-year-old, who saw only a combined 41 minutes of time over his two most recent appearances due to the leg injury, is averaging 14.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game this season.
