Ibaraki, Japan – Yoshinori Fujimoto closed with a three-under 68 on Sunday to win the Japan Golf Tour Championship Citibank Cup Shishido Hills by two strokes.
Fujimoto completed his first Japan Golf Tour win at 13-under-par 271 on the West Course at Shishido Hills Country Club.
The 22-year-old started a steady round with a birdie at the first. After four straight pars, he birdied the par-five sixth to move to 12-under.
Around the turn, Fujimoto birdied the 10th and 14th before stumbling to the only bogey of his round at the 17th.
Masamichi Uehira posted a two-under 69 to take second at minus-11. Yuta Ikeda also had a 69 to end alone in third at 10-under-par 274.
Juvic Pagunsan fired a six-under 65, the best round of the day by two strokes, to soar into fourth place at minus-nine.
Last week's winner Hiroyuki Fujita shot 69 on Sunday to end in a tie for 12th at four-under-par 280.
