Frankfurt defender Timothy Chandler to have knee surgery

FRANKFURT

Germany - Eintracht Frankfurt says United States defender Timothy Chandler will have surgery to repair his right-knee meniscus.

Chandler was injured in Saturday's 4-1 Bundesliga win in Stuttgart. The date of surgery has not been set. Chandler is expected to be out for several weeks.
