Perthshire, Scotland – Mark Foster has been here before in 2011.
Foster shot a four-under 68 on Saturday to tie second-round leader Ignacio Garrido atop the leaderboard after three rounds of the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles. It's the third time this year he's held a share of the 54-hole lead on the European Tour.
However, Foster has yet to turn it into victory, faltering in back-to-back events at the BMW International Open and the Open de France. He'll have some stiff competition in Garrido, who shot a 69 and missed a 12-foot birdie chance on the last to maintain the outright lead at The Gleneagles Hotel.
Both players entered the clubhouse Saturday at 11-under 205, three clear of anyone else. Foster and Garrido have both won on tour before, but neither has captured a title since 2003.
Chasing the two leaders are five players knotted at eight-under: Bernd Wiesberger (68), Anthony Kang (69), Pablo Larrazabal (70), Peter Lawrie (71) and Thomas Bjorn (71).
