Former Calgary Flames part-owner Harley Hotchkiss dies at 83

CALGARY - Former Calgary Flames part-owner Harley Hotchkiss has died.
The team confirmed the 83-year-old Hotchkiss, who had been battling prostate cancer, died Wednesday.
Hotchkiss was part of the group that bought the Atlanta Flames and moved them to Calgary in 1980.

Hotchkiss, who served as chairman of the NHL's board of governors from 1995 to 2007, sold his minority stake in the Flames this season.
He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2006.
