Forget the flame: Boris is on fire during Games

It's hard to miss Boris Johnson at the Summer Olympics.
London's over-the-top mayor has made them his own -- so much that he is spending much of them batting off speculation that his next stop is 10 Downing Street.
After meeting Tuesday with volunteers helping tourists in Trafalgar Square, Johnson firmly denied media reports that he was trying to capitalize on the goodwill churned up by the games to catapult himself into the prime minister's chair.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Johnson says he is `'firmly lashed to the oar," of keeping the city of 8 million moving.
But that didn't stop the games volunteers from speculating.
Michael Burton, 59, says he was hoping that Johnson would ask him directions, so he could point out the way to the prime minister's residence Downing Street.
