Bronx, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Fordham hired Eastern Kentucky's Jeff Neubauer as its new head men's basketball coach on Monday.
Neubauer spent the past 10 years coaching Eastern Kentucky, going 188-134 with two trips to the NCAA Tournament and five 20-win seasons.
The Colonels were 21-12 this past season, losing to Tennessee-Martin in the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

"I am thrilled to get the opportunity not only to be head coach at Fordham but to coach in New York City," Neubauer said in a statement. "I really love challenges and am very aware of how competitive the Atlantic 10 Conference is and I'm looking forward to helping Fordham move forward in the conference."
He replaces Tom Pecora, who was fired on March 18 after going 44-106 in five years as coach of the Rams, including 10-21 this past season.
Fordham hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 1992.
