Fordham beats Holy Cross 47-41 in OT

BRONX, N.Y. (AP) Chase Edmonds rushed for four touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead Fordham to a 47-41 win over Holy Cross on Saturday.
Edmonds rushed for 162 yards for the Rams (7-1, 1-0 Patriot League). Kevin Anderson threw for 194 yards and two scores.
In overtime, Edmonds took it in from 7 yards following a missed Holy Cross field goal to give Fordham the win.

Edmonds ran for two scores in the first half and Anderson added a pair of touchdown passes to Ben Johnson to give Fordham a 27-17 lead at halftime.
A.J. Wells scored on a 52-yard kickoff return early in the second half and Edmonds scored his third touchdown late in the third quarter to erase a brief Holy Cross lead. Then Zane Wasp hit a 48-yard field goal for the Crusaders (2-4, 0-1) sending the game into overtime.
Peter Pujals finished with 508 yards and four touchdowns for the Crusaders.
