Falcons rule out C McClure

Atlanta Falcons starting center Todd McClure has been ruled out of Sunday's season opener against the Chicago Bears.

McClure underwent minor right knee surgery on August 29.

The 6-foot-1, 296-pound LSU product has started in 172 of 175 career games. His streak of 144 consecutive games started will end.
