ATLANTA – The Atlanta Falcons have reached the roster limit of 53 by cutting 10 players, including 2014 draft picks Ricardo Allen and Travian Robertson.
Allen, a cornerback, was a fifth-round pick from Purdue. Robertson, a defensive tackle, was a seventh-rounder from South Carolina.
Receivers Jeremy Ebert and Bernard Reedy were included among Saturday's cuts. The team reached an injury settlement with a third receiver, Geraldo Boldewijn.
The Falcons waived offensive guard Harland Gunn, who played in three games as a backup in 2013, and offensive tackle Terren Jones.
Also cut were safety Sean Baker, linebacker Jacques Smith and tight end Mickey Shuler.
Some of the cuts are likely to be included when the Falcons can announce their 10-player practice squad on Sunday.
