Euro 2012 Venue - Arena Lviv

Opened in October 2011, Arena Lviv is the smallest venue of the eight stadiums being used in Poland or Ukraine for Euro 2012. The stadium has two tiers of seating, and a transparent roof over the seating areas.

The stadium hosted its first international match between Ukraine and Austria in November 2011. Ukraine won the game on a last-minute goal from Marko Devic, 2-1, although it was down to 10 men in front of a record crowd of 34,000.

Arena Lviv is the home of Ukraine club FC Karpaty Lviv, and has a three-level parking garage under the structure.

The stadium will host three Euro 2012 matches, including two each for Denmark, three-time World Cup champion and three-time Euro winner Germany and Portugal. The venue will not host any knockout-stage matches.
