Errani, Zahlavova Strycova to meet in Palermo final
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}French Open runner-up Sara Errani and eighth-seeded Barbora Zahlavova Strycova will square off in the finals after both posted Saturday semifinal victories at the $220,000 Italiacom Open.
Errani, the 2008 champion and 2009 runner up, once more pleased the home faithful with a 6-4, 6-1 triumph against Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania that lasted just 76 minutes.
The earlier semifinal saw Zahlavova Strycova dispatch Brit Laura Robson by a 2-6, 7-5, 6-2 count in just over 2 1/2 hours.
