Emegano scores 26, hot second half lifts Oral Roberts over Tulsa 77-68

Obi Emegano scored 18 second-half points and Oral Roberts used a 13-1 run to pull away from Tulsa 77-68 on Saturday, giving head coach Frank Haith a loss in his Golden Hurricanes debut.
Emegano finished with 26, Korey Billbury scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Bobby Word scored 14, including three 3-pointers, and Adrion Webber added 10 points.
Oral Roberts outshot Tulsa 39.6 to 33.9 percent from the field.

James Woodard led Tulsa with 17 points, Rashad Smith scored 13 and grabbed nine rebounds, and Marquel Curtis scored 12.
Trailing 29-25 at halftime, Tulsa used a 9-4 run to lead 34-33 after D'Andre Wright sank two free throws. But Emegano got the hot hand and Oral Roberts regained the lead. Then Word hit back-to-back 3-pointers and the Golden Eagles pulled ahead 60-44.
