Eintracht boss Veh signs one-year extension

Eintracht Frankfurt boss Armin Veh has signed a one-year contract extension, the club confirmed on Monday.

Veh, whose current contract was set to expire in June, had been strongly linked with a move to Schalke, but used the international break to conclude contract negotiations with Eintracht.

"I'm very pleased that we have managed to realize continuity in our sporting aspects," Eintracht president Heribert Bruchhagen said in a statement on the club's official website.

Veh will officially sign his new deal at a press conference on Tuesday.

Eintracht is currently fourth in the Bundesliga table and in line for a place in next season's Europa League.
