The Philadelphia Eagles made yet another year contract.

"He's a Pro Bowl quality receiver that we will work into our offense as soon as he is ready to go," said Eagles head coach Andy Reid. "We feel very good about our current group of receivers and Steve adds another dimension to that position. He's played very well against us in the past few years and we're happy to have him on board."

Smith, the 26-year-old out of Southern California, played in just nine games a season ago. He racked up 48 receptions for 529 yards and three touchdowns.

A former second-round pick of Big Blue four years ago, Smith put together an impressive 2009 campaign where he struck for a franchise-best 107 receptions -- seven for touchdowns -- and 1,220 yards. In two games against Philadelphia, he hauled in 15 balls for 142 yards.

Over 46 pro games since coming to the Giants in 2007, Smith has compiled 220 catches for 2,386 yards and 11 scores.
