Paris, France – PSG announced on Monday that the club has completed the signing of Netherlands international defender Gregory van der Wiel from Ajax.
The 24-year-old joins the French giants on a four-year contract after appearing in 130 Eredivisie matches for the Amsterdam side.
Van der Wiel was a member of the Dutch team that reached the 2010 World Cup final, and he played in all three games for the Netherlands at Euro 2012.
A product of the famed youth system at Ajax, Van der Wiel has been capped 35 times by his country.
