Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson was released from Broward County jail on Sunday, one day after his arrest on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
Johnson spent the night in jail after allegedly head-butting his wife during an argument. He posted $2,500 bond following a court hearing Sunday morning and was also ordered to stay away from his wife, Evelyn Lozada.
According to the Davie police report, Johnson and Lozada were arguing in a vehicle. The argument apparently started when Lozada found a receipt for condoms in the car.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel said Lozada was taken to a hospital for a laceration to the forehead and was released late Saturday night.
This is the first arrest for Johnson during his 12-year NFL career. He was arrested in college for a domestic dispute.
The Dolphins, late Saturday night, issued a statement and said they were "in the process of gathering all the relevant information."
