Distinct international flavor has Colts taking worldly view at training camp

The Indianapolis Colts locker room has taken on a distinctly international flavor this summer.

Nearly a dozen players on the training camp roster have international ties. Some are children of American immigrants. The rest were born, lived or played football in other countries. They come from far-away places such as Kenya and Tonga and closer places such as Canada and Haiti.

Tommy Wiking, president of the International Federation of American Football, sees the NFL becoming more inclusive to international players and this could be just the start.
