Devils sign Kinkaid to two-year deal

Newark, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Jersey Devils have signed goaltender Keith Kinkaid to a two-year contract.

Kinkaid served as the backup to Cory Schneider this past season and posted a record of 6-5-4 with a 2.59 goals-against average in 19 games. He made 13 starts overall and played well at the Prudential Center with a mark of 5-1-2 and a 1.91 GAA.

The 25-year-old native of Long Island earned his first NHL win on Dec. 19 against Tampa Bay.
