After missing the last three games with knee injury, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson returned to practice with the team on Wednesday.

The three-year veteran injured his left knee in Jacksonville's Week 2 win over the Miami Dolphins.

"I'm excited about it,'' Robinson said about being back on the field, per Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union. "I'm going to be able to do everything I would usually do."

The 25-year old had six carries for 28 yards and two receptions for 26 yards before being injured.

Robinson's return comes at an opportune time for the Jaguars, who are hurting a running back. Starter T.J. Yeldon is dealing with a groin injury, while backup Bernard Pierce is in the NFL's concussion protocol.
