Delle Donne helps No. 16 Delaware women top Drexel

The Blue Hens (16-1, 7-0 Colonial Athletic Association), who never trailed after opening with a 10-0 run, won their sixth straight.
The country's leading scorer at 28.4 points per game, Delle Donne shot 9 of 14 and also had seven rebounds and three blocks. Akeema Richard added 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Lauren Carra and Danielle Parker scored 10 points apiece.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Kamile Nacickaite scored 12 points and Tyler Hale added 10 for Drexel (9-8, 5-2).
The Dragons cut the deficit to 36-33 on Hollie Mershon's 3-pointer with 12:58 remaining, but the Blue Hens went on a 13-4 run to regain control.
Vice President Joe Biden, a Delaware graduate, attended the game.
