New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The MLS Disciplinary Committee announced Thursday that its has fined D.C. United midfielder Luis Silva an undisclosed amount for simulation.
The incident took place in the 79th minute of United's game against the Columbus Crew on March 8. Silva went to ground under an apparent challenge from Michael Parkhurst, but replays showed that no contact was made between the two players.
