Archie Bradley had a strong outing for Reno on Thursday as he continues to recover from shoulder tendinitis. Bradley gave up two runs and seven hits while pitching seven innings for the Aces, his longest outing since returning to action from the June injury. He struck out seven and did not walk a batter.
Bradley did not get a decision in Reno's 5-4 loss to Sacramento. The Aces took a two-run lead in the top of the ninth on Nick Evans' 17th home run of the season, but Sacramento scored three off Seth Simmons in the bottom of the inning on a solo home run by Mac Williamson and a two-run walkoff homer by Trevor Brown with two outs.
Evans' home run capped a four-hit game. The Aces also got a home run from Peter O'Brien, his 25th.
MISSOULA: Fresh off being named the organization's minor league player of the month, Osprey shortstop Isan Diaz belted a grand slam in Missoula's 8-1 victory over Great Falls. It was Diaz's 13th home run in just 64 games and came less than two weeks after he hit for the cycle.
