Coyotes sign Domingue to 1-year deal

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Coyotes have signed goalie Louis Domingue to a one-year contract.

The 23-year-old from Quebec played in seven games with the Coyotes last season, going 1-2-1 with a 2.73 goals-against average.

Domingue also played 20 games for Portland of the AHL, where he went 11-6-2 with a 2.65 goals-against average. He was 2-2-1 with a 2.37 goals-against average in five playoff games for the Pirates.

Domingue was a fifth-round draft pick by the Coyotes in the 2010 NHL draft.

Arizona announced the deal on Saturday.
