Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb teams up with Lowe's for Dallas home makeover
The Cowboys stepped in to help with $50,000 worth of critical home repairs
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Dallas Cowboys and rookie wide receiver CeeDee Lamb have teamed up with Lowe’s ahead of Thanksgiving Day to help renovate the home of a local family.
The Dawit family has lived in their home for more than 15 years but were in need of necessary renovations when their 15-year-old daughter nominated them through the Boys & Girls Club of greater Dallas for a home makeover.

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Unbeknownst to the Dawits, the Cowboys stepped in to help with $50,000 worth of critical home repairs and gifted them with a lawn mower.
Lamb then surprised the family with a Zoom call on Nov. 10 to reveal some surprises of his own.

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}“I’ve actually been in the Boys and Girls Club situation and I’ve actually enjoyed it. So I’ve been in your shoes before, my home’s been damaged before,” he said before gifting the family with a signed jersey to hang in their newly remodeled home.
“I also have another thing for you,” Lamb added. “I actually want you and your family to come to one of our next home games that we’re gonna have here in Dallas.”

Lamb is a member of the Lowe’s Home Team -- a group of 32 current players in the league working on community projects in their respective cities.
