Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose will miss the game against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night because of a hamstring injury.

Rose strained his left hamstring Thursday in the Bulls' 100-93 victory over the Toronto Raptors when he slipped and fell on a drive late in the fourth quarter. He says the injury is minor, and is listed as day to day.

Rose also sat out four games because of sprained ankles and missed most of the last two seasons with knee injuries.

Rose, the 2010-11 league MVP, is averaging 18 points, 5.4 assists and 2.8 rebounds this season.
