Chargers LB Butler lands on IR
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - San Diego Chargers linebacker Donald Butler will miss the remainder of the season after dislocating his left elbow during Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos.
Butler, San Diego's second-leading tackler, sustained the injury late in the first half of the team's 22-10 loss to the Broncos. It occurred when he was blocked on a running play by Peyton Manning, who temporarily left the game after hurting his thigh during the collision.
The fourth-year pro had started 13 of the Chargers' 14 games, amassing 83 tackles, one sack and three fumble recoveries.
