Chargers ink WR Pettis
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Diego Chargers signed wide receiver Austin Pettis on Friday.
Pettis was released by the St. Louis Rams in October after making 12 catches for 118 yards and a touchdown in five games last season.
The 26-year-old's best season came in 2013 when he set career highs in catches (38), receiving yards (399) and touchdowns (four).
