Chadli rescues Twente against Excelsior
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Substitute Nacer Chadli notched a late winner to see Twente apply some additional pressure on first-place Ajax with a 1-0 defeat of last-place Excelsior at Stadion Woudestein on Saturday.
Chadli's 90th-minute strike helped Twente improve to 60 points on the season to keep its title hopes alive. The club now sits just four points back of Ajax ahead of its clash against Groningen on Sunday.
Excelsior, with five straight defeats, remains bottom of the Eredivisie on 18 points with three games remaining.
