Alkmaar, Netherlands – Twente moved three points clear at the top of the Eredivisie on Friday after Nacer Chadli tallied two goals in a 3-0 win over AZ Alkmaar.
Chadli broke a scoreless deadlock in the opening minutes of the second half before Twente doubled its lead through Luc Castaignos, who netted his eighth goal of the campaign 15 minutes from time.
The match was put away in the 82nd when Chadli scored for the second time, lifting Twente three points clear of PSV Eindhoven.
AZ has won only one of its last eight games and remains in the bottom half of the league.
