Celtic manager Lennon suspended two matches

Celtic manager Neil Lennon was suspended two matches Thursday for criticizing the referee after last month's Scottish Cup final.

Celtic lost to Kilmarnock at Hampden Park in the Cup final March 18 and Lennon was outspoken about the referee following the 1-0 loss.

"We can confirm that we are satisfied with the fairness and spirit of the hearing," Celtic said in a statement, "and that no appeal will be made against the findings or sanctions."

Lennon will miss upcoming matches against Motherwell and Rangers. Celtic has already clinched the Scottish Premier League title.
