Cornerback Joselio Hanson was among the season roster limit of 53.

Hanson played in 15 games -- six starts -- for the Eagles last season and had been with the team since 2006.

The Eagles also released tight end Donald Lee, who signed with the Eagles in July after spending six seasons with Green Bay, during which he caught 178 passes for 1,655 yards.

Additionally, Philadelphia released safeties Jamar Adams and Marlin Jackson; running back Eldra Buckley; wide receivers Chad Hall, Johnnie Lee Higgins and Sinorice Moss; defensive tackles Anthony Hargrove and Derek Landri; linebacker Greg Lloyd; defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim; and offensive linemen Fenuki Tupou, Reggie Wells, Austin Howard and Mike McGlynn.

The Eagles also released offensive tackle Jose Acuna from the reserve/left squad list and waived him. Offensive tackle Ryan Harris was waived/injured.

They also activated offensive tackle Winston Justice, who had knee surgery in February, from the physically unable to perform list. Defensive end Brandon Graham remains on the PUP list.
