Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - If the Arizona Cardinals are going to hold off the Seattle Seahawks to win the NFC West, they will have to do so without Andre Ellington.
The Cardinals placed the second-year running back on season-ending injured reserve Monday with a hip injury.
Ellington missed Sunday's 17-14 win over Kansas City because of the injury that he suffered at Atlanta the previous week. He rushed for 660 yards and three touchdowns on 201 carries and caught 46 passes for 395 yards and two scores.

The Cardinals, who are one game ahead of Seattle in the division standings, filled the roster spot by signing safety Chris Clemons.
Clemons started 48 games for Miami from 2009-2013, including all 16 games in each of his final two seasons with the Dolphins. He signed with Houston in March, but was released on Sept. 1.
The Cardinals signed guard John Fullington and wide receiver Travis Harvey to the practice squad.
