Cardinals' GM talks about RB David Johnson's 'scary' potential

Arizona Cardinals rookie running back David Johnson operated as a true bellcow-back during the team's final seven games including the postseason-- averaging 21.7 touches with 864 combined rushing and receiving yards and six total touchdowns.
Cardinals general manager Steve Keim told the team's official website that Johnson's impressive stretch run is only the beginning.

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Johnson finished his collegiate career at Northern Iowa with 141 receptions, 1,734 receiving yards and 14 receiving touchdowns. He finished his rookie season with 51 receptions for 568 receiving yards and four touchdowns -- including the postseason. Johnson's ability to make an impact as a runner and receiver has Keim excited about his potential to evolve into one of the NFL's most complete running backs.
Entering the season, Johnson was expected to mostly handle special teams, but injuries gave him the opportunity for an expanded role and the 2015 third-round draft pick never looked back.
